Friends of Johns Homestead Park

The mission of the Friends of Johns Homestead Park (JHP) is to partner with local government and the community to preserve, promote, and enhance the historic homestead and adjacent green space as an important cultural, educational and historic resource to be enjoyed by generations to come.

Johns Homestead park is a 50-acre green space located in Tucker, Georgia on Lawrenceville Highway. The park contains the historic Johns Homestead (ca. 1829) and outbuildings, as well as two scenic lakes known as the Twin Brothers Lakes. The park is currently not officially open, however passive use such as hiking and bird-watching is encouraged.
